There are many opportunities for Rotarians to help our community beyond the activities offered by our Club!

 

Below is a list of non-profits that are interested in volunteers:

 

 

Emeritus College (a program of Santa Monica College for older adults):
Computer and tech savvy volunteers are needed to help staff the Emeritus College mini-lab.  Help students with the basics, such as registering for classes online and learning how to navigate a computer, computer software, tablets, smart phones, etc.

Meals on Wheels West:
Meals On Wheels West provides community based services that nourish and enrich the lives of our homebound neighbors, of all ages, by providing nutritious meals, an emergency preparedness program and referrals to other services that promote independent living and wellbeing. Our volunteers deliver a LA County dietitian approved hot lunch and a light dinner to homebound people of all ages daily.

Santa Monica Pier Aquarium:
Heal the Bay’s public marine-education center is looking for education volunteers that can help them with their school field trips Monday-Friday mornings from 9-2pm.
