Rotary Club of Santa Monica Coastal Cleanup
Santa Monica Rotarians and Rotaract members from Santa Monica College were out in force this day to help the Santa Monica Community by cleaning up more than a square mile of the Santa Monica beach area. We picked up enough broken glass, paper, cans, cigarette butts and trash to fill eight bags and four bags of recycled items.
When our club was done our stretch of beach was clean and safe for the children and families of Santa Monica to enjoy a day at the beach.
This was a community project that took action and made all
around us aware that we care.
