On June 18, long-time Santa Monica Rotarian Bob Gabriel and his wife, Louise,
were presented with the Jim Cayton Community Service Award from the Center for
Healthy Aging. Jim Cayton was a past president of the club and his widow,
Lucille, was there to watch Louise and Bob receive the award. Three other
Santa Monica Rotarians, Center President and CEO, Dr. Monika White, Center
Chairman Nat Trives, and Center board member and event co-chair Iao Katagiri,
presided over the gala which was held under the stars at the Skirball Cultural
Center in West Los Angeles."
