The Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica
Allan Young, President and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica, had a positive note in the organization's Summer 2004 Bulletin.
He gave an update on the progress of the newest club at John Adams Middle School. It will provide children ages 7-13 with activities before, during and after school.
This new site is in its final stages of planning, with ground set to be broken in June and completion six months later. The new site is being constructed in partnership with the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District and the Rotary Club of Santa Monica, and he extended a big thanks to everyone who has worked so hard on this project, including our own president, Dee Menzies.
Allan also highlighted many of the great accomplishments of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica thus far in 2004.
