Members of the Santa Monica Rotary Club celebrated its 80th birthday at a wonderful party at the Casa del mar hotel at the beginning of this month. I was the party coordinator and it was worth the many hours of planning, meetings, phone calls, and testing out of ideas that it took to make the event such a success. there are so many people who helped to make my concept of a '20s night club come true. Special thanks to President Hal Quigley, Barry Bouley, Erik Jorgensborg, RoseMary Regalbuto, and to my creative consultant, George Collins, who helped me stretch my imagination.
