Shots for Tots and Teens

It’s that time of year again and Saint John’s Health Center is rising to the occasion by offering free immunization and TB skin tests to all infants, adolescents and teenagers under the age of 18.  It will take place on Saturday, October 20, 10a.m. to noon.

According to California Law all children must have up to date shot records to attend school or child care centers.

These diseases of chicken pox, diphtheria, hemophilus, hepatitis B, influenza, measles, mumps, polio, rubella, tetanus and whooping cough are known to infect small children as well as teenagers who can be protected with immunizations.

The program is sponsored by Saint John’s Health Center and the Santa Monica Rotary Club.  Shots for Tots and Teens was inaugurated more than 10 years ago and has immunized more than 2,000 children free of charge.

Saint John’s Health Center is located at Arizona and 22nd Street.  Come to the Cafeteria-Ground Floor.  Information call (310)829.8234.
