On Tuesday, January 18, 2005 the Rotary Club of Santa Monica’s Gotta Go Group went by bus to Serra Retreat Center and Historic Adamson House, both in Malibu.
We learned about the Rindge and Adamson Family’s ownership of the Malibu Spanish land grant and how they built the Serra Retreat and Adamson House.
Along for the adventure were Kay Colberg, Elza Ruhman, Shirley and Bill Dowling, Jim and Virginia Reidy, Bill Hunt, June Doy, Ann Greenspun, Bob Moore, Vivian Spurgin, Betty Wisda and four guests.
Gotta Go Group will try to plan its next outing on a Saturday. The larger the group the less it costs for our transportation expense.
