G.A.R.P.

On Wednesday August 28, 25 Santa Monica Rotarians and guests descended upon the Red Cross of Santa Monica for a Games And Rotary Party (GARP). Along with some fine Italian fare and bounteous beverages, the participants enjoyed lively conversation, good fellowship, and intense (?) competition. It was enough to keep Schiller Colberg awake. The gaming included a rousing game of Trivial Pursuit with even the non-players offering answers to pie questions. Reverend Keith Magee led a large group of novices through the intricacies of Huggermugger. There were even two tables of bridge, where Dr. Dick Rice learned to count to 52, and president Bill Crookston learned the joys of being Dummy. New Red Cross Director Tom Miskimen offered his hospitality, supplied a welcoming cake, and cleaned up after the disaster left behind.

It was a fine evening.

One final note - thank you Chair Harris Levey!

Our roving Camera Man - Hal Quigley took pictures of the event. From the looks on every ones face I missed a fun party.
