It has been a tradition of the Rotary Club of Santa Monica
to conduct its annual golf classic at the Ojai Valley Inn & Country Club.
Unlike many other tournaments, the Rotary Golf Classic is designed to
promote fellowship, introduce guests to our club in a casual setting and create
a day of relaxation for members and their guests.
Whether you play golf or you prefer a massage, tennis match or lying by
the pool, you are invited to join us at the historic Ojai Valley Inn on October
16, 2002.
The Ojai Country Club golf course was sculpted from the
natural terrain of the Ojai Valley in 1923 by one of golf’s most famous
architects, George C. Thomas, Jr. Thomas
is the architect of Los Angeles’ most famous trio of golf courses, the Bel Air
Country Club, the Los Angeles Country Club’s North Course and Thomas’ most
famous work, the Riviera Country Club. The
Ojai Country Club is one of the most beautiful golf courses anywhere in the
world. It is a special treat to be
able to play such a famous and beautiful course.
