Bunni Dybnis, M.A, MFT, CMC-- BIO

 

 

Bunni Dybnis is the Director of Professional Services of LivHOME, a private eldercare company that provides comprehensive eldercare services. With over twenty years experience as a licensed marriage and family therapist she has developed and overseen programs in the areas of death and dying, bereavement, disability and the frail elderly both in the non-profit and private arenas including Jewish Family Services, Century City and Brotman Hospitals. 

Bunni is active on both the community and national arena on issues of aging including:

 the co-chair of TOPS (Team of Older Person’s Services)

is a member of the Professional Training Committee of the Alzheimer’s Association of L.A

the Steering Committee of the California Association of Healthcare at Home

and the Advisory Committee of Charverim, the Jewish Program for the Disabled.

Bunni is a nationally recognized speaker on a variety of topics concerning the elderly presenting at venues including the Museum of Holocaust Aging Symposium, The National Council of Jewish Women Annual Symposium, the American Society on Aging National and International Conferences and National Public Radio. The Women’s Business Council of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce recently recognized Bunni as an “Exceptional Woman in Eldercare” and as did the National Organization of Geriatric Care Managers Western Region with their Rose Kleiner Award “ for dedication and service in the field of care management”.
